Based on how the Green Bay Packers are playing, it seems inevitable they will pick early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Packers have lost four straight. Another disastrous offensive performance cost them against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8, despite forcing turnovers on special teams and defense late in the game.

If Green Bay can't get things figured out, and quickly, serious questions will be asked about the future of general manager Brian Gutekunst, head coach Matt LaFleur, and quarterback Jordan Love.

As the losses pile up, the Packers continue to climb the draft order.

Packers climb the 2024 NFL Draft order after fourth straight loss

If the regular season ended today, the Packers would own the sixth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. It wouldn't quite put them in range for one of the top two quarterbacks, Caleb Williams or Drake Maye, but they would have the chance to land a future star.

  1. Arizona Cardinals (1-7)
  2. Chicago Bears - from Carolina Panthers (1-6)
  3. Chicago Bears (2-6)
  4. New York Giants (2-6)
  5. New England Patriots (2-6)
  6. Green Bay Packers (2-5)
  7. Indianapolis Colts (3-5)
  8. Las Vegas Raiders (3-5)
  9. Denver Broncos (3-5)
  10. Los Angeles Rams (3-5)
  11. Washington Commanders (3-5)
  12. Arizona Cardinals - from Houston Texans (3-4)
  13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4)
  14. Los Angeles Chargers (3-4)
  15. Tennessee Titans (3-4)
  16. New Orleans Saints (4-4)
  17. New York Jets (4-3)
  18. Cincinnati Bengals (4-3)
  19. Atlanta Falcons (4-4)
  20. Minnesota Vikings (4-4)
  21. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3)
  22. Houston Texans - from Cleveland Browns (4-3)
  23. San Francisco 49ers (5-3)
  24. Buffalo Bills (5-3)
  25. Dallas Cowboys (5-2)
  26. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-2)
  27. Baltimore Ravens (6-2)
  28. Seattle Seahawks (5-2)
  29. Detroit Lions (6-2)
  30. Miami Dolphins (6-2)
  31. Kansas City Chiefs (6-2)
  32. Philadelphia Eagles (7-1)

The No. 6 pick is likely too late for Ohio State's star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., but a name to watch is Penn State tackle Olu Fashanu. He is the best tackle in the class and could give the Packers the dominant starter they need to replace David Bakhtiari.

The draft is still months away, and the order will continue to change throughout the regular season.

But if the Packers don't improve their performances, they will continue to move up closer to the top pick in 2024.
