1. Jordan Love has had three years to prepare for this moment

In many ways, being drafted by the Green Bay Packers was perfect for Jordan Love. He wasn't ready to start in 2020. He needed time to sit, learn, and develop his game. Some teams wouldn't have given him that opportunity and it could've forced him to start before he was ready.

In Green Bay, he was given something most first-round quarterbacks don't get: time. He had three years to get coached, learn from his mistakes, and improve. Not only did he get to work with the Packers' coaching staff, but he also got to learn from Aaron Rodgers every day at practice.

"Love is a raw prospect who will need some time to develop. There is risk with him, but the payoff could be huge," wrote NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah before the 2020 NFL Draft.

Love got the time to develop that he needed. And those three years of development could set him up for success in the NFL.

It worked for Aaron Rodgers. He was in a similar situation to Love. He was a first-round pick in 2005 but had to wait three years to start. He, too, got to learn from a Hall-of-Fame quarterback in Brett Favre.

Love was put in the perfect position to develop. Now it's his time to show the world what he can do.
