Loser: Offensive line depth

When fully healthy, the Packers' offensive line is as good as any in the league.

One possible starting combination is David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers, Jon Runyan, and Zach Tom. Another would see Tom replace Myers at center, with Yosh Nijman starting at right tackle.

However, depth is the main concern for this group, especially with Bakhtiari uncertain to play every game.

Bakhtiari sat out of Saturday's Family Night practice, while Jenkins didn't participate due to illness.

Bill Huber noted that Cole Schneider and James Empey were part of the second-team offensive line with Bakhtiari and Jenkins out. The Packers only recently signed both players, highlighting a concerning lack of depth.

Bakhtiari's status affects the center competition. Even if the Packers prefer Tom over Myers at center, it could all change in games Bakhtiari doesn't play. Tom would then need to slide to right tackle, Nijman cover at left tackle, and Myers start at center. It's not ideal.

The hope is that some of the young linemen on the roster, like Sean Rhyan, can continue to build on a solid week of practice.

Green Bay's starting five is among the best in the league, but offensive line depth is a concern entering the season.
