Winner: Quay Walker

Another player the Packers hoped would make a second-year jump was inside linebacker Quay Walker. Green Bay selected Walker 22nd overall in last year's draft. While he showed potential as a rookie, Walker had a frustratingly inconsistent first season, best remembered for two ejections.

Walker was outstanding in this game. He finished with four tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass defense. Crucially, he intercepted Justin Fields and returned it for a touchdown.

And what a moment it was. Walker showed the vision of a running back on his return. He broke tackles, outran defenders, and even pulled off a spin. Just as impressive was how he read the play. Walker watched Fields all the way and expected the ball to be thrown in the middle of the field. He was correct and made an excellent play to intercept the pass.

The concern is that Walker had to exit the game due to a head injury after the play. Hopefully, he is OK and can play in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.

But Walker made a huge impact in this game. His interception takes the headlines, but it was an all-around strong performance from the Packers' former first-round pick.
