1. Jordan Love, QB

The biggest mystery of the Packers' 2023 season is how well Jordan Love will play.

Green Bay traded up to draft him in the first round three years ago, but we have barely seen him play in the regular season. Across multiple games in two seasons, Love has completed 50 of 83 passes for 606 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions, with a passer rating of 79.7.

But focusing on the numbers is the worst way to judge his performances over the past two seasons. He made one start, on short notice, against the Kansas City Chiefs, but the rest of his game time has come off the bench.

Love has improved each season. That was clear even in limited game time. He had the benefit of developing and getting to learn from Aaron Rodgers for three years.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah wrote in 2020 before Love was drafted: "Love is a raw prospect who will need some time to develop. There is risk with him, but the payoff could be huge."

Love landed in the perfect spot. He got more than enough time to develop.

But can he become the Packers' long-term starting quarterback? Nobody knows. Anything is possible. Love could lead Green Bay to a division title this season, or the Packers could enter the 2024 NFL Draft in the market for a new quarterback.
