Sammy Watkins, WR

After the Packers traded away Davante Adams last offseason, they decided to add veteran receiver Sammy Watkins in free agency.

They would then draft three receivers -- Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure -- with the hope that Watkins' experience would help the offense while the young pass-catchers adjusted from college football to the NFL.

However, things couldn't have gone much worse for Watkins in Green Bay. Outside of a three-catch, 93-yard performance in Week 2, Watkins barely made an impact in the Packers' offense, finishing with fewer than 10 receiving yards in five of the nine games he played, with zero catches in three games.

The Packers needed Watkins to be a reliable veteran receiver for Aaron Rodgers in the passing game, but he was outplayed by Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs and Green Bay released him in December.

Watkins finished the season with the Baltimore Ravens, but he remains unsigned after becoming a free agent at the start of the new league year. He turns 30 this month and hasn't had a season with over 500 receiving yards since 2019 with the Kansas City Chiefs.

After a disappointing season with the Packers, will Watkins get another opportunity on a new team this year?
