Edge rushers (5)

Rashan Gary, Preston Smith, Lukas Van Ness, Kingsley Enagbare, Justin Hollins

When Rashan Gary returns from injury, the Packers' pass rush should be up there with the best in the league. Gary is a star, and the Packers have improved their depth over the past year, including in this weekend's draft.

First-round pick Lukas Van Ness has drawn comparisons to Gary, and he lands in a similar situation to Gary when he was drafted in 2019. Van Ness is an elite athlete with the potential to become a star, although he still needs development. Also like Gary, Van Ness doesn't need to be a starter in year one.

Van Ness could play a lot of snaps inside in a similar role to Za'Darius Smith in Green Bay, and that creates the exciting scenario of having Van Ness, Gary, and Preston Smith on the field at the same time.

Kingsley Enagbare impressed in his rookie season, and Justin Hollins was a smart in-season addition last year.

The Packers have strong depth at edge rusher. They will also be helped by the newest additions to the defensive line, Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks.

Green Bay's pass rush should be much improved in 2023.
