Packers 53-man roster predictions following 2023 NFL Draft
Inside linebackers (4)
De'Vondre Campbell, Quay Walker, Isaiah McDuffie, Eric Wilson
Green Bay didn't need to make any changes at inside linebacker, so we can expect the same group as last season to return.
De'Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker will play the majority of the snaps on defense. Campbell is only a season removed from being a first-team All-Pro, while Walker was selected 22nd overall last year. Walker was inconsistent in his rookie season, but showed flashes of Pro Bowl potential. The Packers will hope he can make a second-year jump and build off of a solid first season in Green Bay.
The Packers have solid depth with Isaiah McDuffie, who was a sixth-round pick two years ago. McDuffie's snaps increased last season. While most of his work came on special teams, he did play a backup role on defense. He made 43 tackles and recovered a fumble.
Eric Wilson was one of the Packers' most important special teams players last season. He was rewarded with a new contract this offseason. Barring injury, Wilson won't be asked to play much on defense, but he plays a crucial role on special teams. Bringing him back was an easy choice for the Packers this offseason.
