Packers 53-man roster predictions with depth chart after minicamp 2023
Next stop: Green Bay Packers training camp.
The Packers' offseason workout program came to an end this week. It provided an early glimpse into how the 2023 team will look. Positional battles are already underway, some surprise names have made an impressive start, and the Packers have made progress in their preparations for the new season.
Training camp will settle positional battles and determine who makes the Packers' 53-man roster. But following organized team activities and minicamp, we have a better idea of how things are shaping up.
As the Packers take their summer break ahead of training camp, it's time to update our 53-man roster predictions with the depth chart at each position.
Quarterback (2)
- Jordan Love
- Sean Clifford
Unless the Packers sign a veteran quarterback ahead of training camp, this feels set. Jordan Love made some 'wow' plays throughout the offseason program, but there are also many areas to improve.
Sean Clifford faces competition from Danny Etling, but it's hard to see the rookie not winning the No. 2 job unless the Packers add another quarterback to the mix this summer.
Bringing in a veteran could make sense, but as of yet, the Packers haven't made a move. After the offseason program, it looks like it will be Clifford backing up Love.
