Green Bay Packers 53-man roster predictions after OTAs
Just like that, it's June, the Green Bay Packers have completed their organized team activities, and training camp is only a month away. Before then, the Packers will host their three-day mandatory minicamp next week.
Soon, we will leave behind a dramatic offseason and the Packers will return for training camp, making preparations for the beginning of the new era in September.
Aaron Rodgers' departure led to the Packers making significant changes at wide receiver and tight end, getting younger at both positions.
A busy summer awaits, but the Packers have already learned a lot about their team at OTAs. With that in mind, it's time to make our latest 53-man roster predictions.
Quarterback (2)
- Jordan Love
- Sean Clifford
Jordan Love started his career as the third-string quarterback in Green Bay before spending the next two seasons backing up Aaron Rodgers.
A season on the practice squad may benefit rookie Sean Clifford, although he is currently the frontrunner for the No. 2 job. Clifford made some plays at OTAs. If he can continue to impress, the Packers may feel confident enough that he can back up Love this season.
Signing a veteran over the summer shouldn't be ruled out, but for now, it's Clifford competing with Danny Etling for the No. 2 quarterback job in Green Bay.
