1. Danny Etling

Danny Etling is the most experienced Packers quarterback and has a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots.

He has been in the league longer than Jordan Love or Sean Clifford, having been drafted in the seventh round back in 2018. However, Etling is yet to actually throw a pass in the regular season.

Green Bay could still decide to sign a veteran free agent at quarterback. That would just about guarantee Etling won't make the 53. Even now, he faces competition from rookie Clifford. The Packers drafted Clifford in the fifth round, giving him the advantage over Etling.

The Packers should sign a veteran to back up Love. They aren't tanking this year. They expect to remain competitive in the NFC North. But it's hard to see how they win games with Etling or Clifford running the offense.

But until then, Etling remains in the mix. He has experience on his side over Clifford. Etling has shared quarterback rooms with Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady and been part of a championship-winning Patriots team. That counts for something.

However, Etling has no regular season experience. If it comes down to a choice between the two, it's hard to imagine the Packers will pick Etling over their fifth-round draft choice.
