Here we go. The Jordan Love era begins in one week at Soldier Field. After patiently waiting three years, Love gets his moment as the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback.

For most of the Aaron Rodgers era, we knew what to expect from this team. They would remain competitive in the NFC, often win the division, and the hope was they had enough to get the job done in the playoffs.

This year, it is different. Nobody can confidently say how well this Packers team will perform. Love could show he is the next great quarterback in Green Bay, or the team could be searching for a replacement next offseason. Only time will tell.

But with the regular season only a week away, it is time to make seven bold predictions for this Packers team.

7. Romeo Doubs leads Packers in receiving

Christian Watson is a game-changer. The difference-maker. Defensive coordinators will have nightmares trying to game plan for him. That is great news for Romeo Doubs.

With Watson drawing the attention of defenders, Doubs can quietly have an excellent second season in Green Bay. Jordan Love has already built great chemistry with Doubs, often looking his way at crucial moments on the practice field.

He may not have as many highlight-reel plays as Watson, but Doubs can become Love's go-to target and the Packers' most consistent receiver.

It's important to remember that until Watson's breakout second half of last season, Doubs had been the Packers' most impressive rookie receiver. And he has built on that this summer. Doubs will finish the season as the WR1 in Green Bay.
