Packers 7-round mock draft: The dream haul for Green Bay in 2023
Round 3 (78): Tucker Kraft, TE, South Dakota State
If the Packers miss out on the top tight ends in the opening two rounds, there's no reason to panic. This is a deep class, and they can find tremendous value in the third round.
South Dakota State's Tucker Kraft could start from Day 1. He has great size and athleticism and is an excellent receiver. Kraft is strong after the catch. He would quickly become Jordan Love's best friend.
Round 4 (116): Johnathan Mingo, WR, Ole Miss
You'll notice a theme here. Johnathan Mingo is another receiver who checks every box for the Packers. He is 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, and earned a Relative Athletic Score of 9.97 out of 10.
His blocking will get him on the field early on. The Packers have lost Allen Lazard. In Mingo, they would be getting an excellent blocker.
Round 5 (149): Christopher Smith, S, Georgia
Christopher Smith's combine numbers may hurt his draft stock, but make no mistake about it, he's a talented player and can become a quality starter in the NFL.
He can line up at multiple positions in the secondary, can play special teams, and would immediately compete for a starting job in Joe Barry's defense.
Round 5 (170): Moro Ojomo, DL, Texas
After losing Jarran Reed and Dean Lowry in free agency, the Packers need to add some more depth to the defensive line. Moro Ojomo would compete for snaps next to starters Kenny Clark and Devonte Wyatt.
