3. Anders Carlson finds form

There's no denying Anders Carlson's power when he kicks a football, but consistency has been the number one concern for the sixth-round draft choice.

But he was perfect against the Patriots, making all three of kicks, including a 52-yard field goal which he made look easy. Carlson has the talent to boot any kick from any distance, but doing it consistently and limiting the mistakes is the next step. Carlson needed a performance like this to help his confidence, and he delivered.

2. Malik Heath moves closer to 53-man roster

Malik Heath's impressive summer continued on Saturday evening, making a team-best 75 receiving yards on five catches. Heath is stacking success in the preseason, showing his ability as a receiver and blocker.

An argument can be made that Heath has outperformed second-year receiver Samori Toure. Is that enough to secure Heath's spot on the 53-man roster?

1. Jordan Love is ready

Jordan Love is ready for the regular season to begin. He looked at ease once again in the preseason, completing five of eight passes for 84 yards and a beautiful touchdown pass to rookie receiver Jayden Reed.

Love has done all he can to show what he can do throughout camp and the preseason. He is ready to do it in real games.
