Picks 10-15

Overview

Many Packers fans will be disappointed if Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba isn't their first-round pick later this month. Unfortunately, the Packers may need to trade up to get him.

He is the best wide receiver in this class, so it would come as no surprise if the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, or New England Patriots drafted him just ahead of the Packers.

The solution? Trade above them.

Smith-Njigba played in the same Ohio State offense as Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson two years ago, and he finished with more receiving yards than both of them. Had it not been for injury in 2022, Smith-Njigba would've likely had another huge season and possibly forced his way even further up draft boards.

Put him in the Packers' offense, and there's a good chance he leads the team in receptions in year one. With Christian Watson stretching defenses deep, Smith-Njigba could catch passes all day long in the middle of the field.

The 2022 Rose Bowl MVP shouldn't take long to make an impact in the NFL. Green Bay needs a wide receiver, and they won't find a better fit for Matt LaFleur's offense than Smith-Njigba.
