It's the sight no Green Bay Packers fan wanted to see.

Aaron Jones had to be carted off the field after suffering an apparent knee injury. He had to be helped off the field in tears and was comforted by his teammates.

It's heartbreaking to see Jones suffer what looked a scary injury. Hopefully, it's not as bad as it looked.

Here are the latest Aaron Jones injury updates:

Latest injury updates for Packers running back Aaron Jones

  • Jones provided an update after the game:

Jones was in a lot of pain after suffering the injury. It immediately looked concerning. He had to be helped off the field. He was carted off the field with a towel over his head.

The Packers have officially ruled out Aaron Jones (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) for the remainder of the game

Jones suffered the injury on his fourth carry of the game. He had rushed for 14 yards.

Just moments later, undrafted rookie Emanuel Wilson also had to leave the field after suffering an injury. Wilson was carted off, leaving the Packers with only one active running back: AJ Dillon.

Dillon will need to take on pretty much every carry for the remainder of the game, and head coach Matt LaFleur may have to get creative with rushing opportunities for Jayden Reed and Christian Watson. Reed has a 32-yard rushing touchdown in this game.

It makes life far more difficult in the second half against the Chargers, although the game is tied at 10-10.

But the concern is for Jones and this injury. Hopefully, it isn't as serious as it looked. But it seems unlikely he will return to this game, and the worry is always for a significant injury after a player looks in as much pain as Jones did.

It doesn't help that the Packers' next game is in only four days against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. It would seem there's a good chance Green Bay won't have Jones available against Detroit, but we'll see.
