Round 2 (43): Felix Anudike-Uzomah, EDGE, Kansas State

The Packers love to draft defensive players in the early rounds. Their focus on premium positions continues into the second day of the draft, getting some much-needed pass-rush help with Felix Anudike-Uzomah out of Kansas State.

Anudike-Uzomah is another great athlete, earning a Relative Athletic Score of 8.74 out of 10.

"Anudike-Uzomah is one of the best edge benders in the draft class. He's the type of edge rusher that's going to convert a lot of pressures to sacks because of that," wrote Michael Renner of Pro Football Focus.

The Kansas State pass rusher had excellent numbers at college. He made 8.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and forced two fumbles last season. In 2021, he had 11 sacks, 14.5 tackles for loss, and forced an impressive six fumbles.

In Green Bay, Anudike-Uzomah would have time. He wouldn't be asked to step into the starting lineup from Day 1 and deliver double-digit sacks. He'd have time to learn from the Packers' starting duo, Rashan Gary and Preston Smith.

In the short term, Green Bay desperately needs more pass-rush depth. Anudike-Uzomah would be a great addition to the rotation in year one, with the potential to become an excellent starter in the coming seasons.
