Packers blockbuster trade shakes up 2023 7-round mock draft
Round 4 (116): Zacch Pickens, DL, South Carolina
The focus shifts back to defense with South Carolina defensive lineman Zacch Pickens. In his final two seasons, Pickens made 6.5 sacks, nine tackles for loss, four pass defenses, and recovered a couple of fumbles.
In time, Pickens could become a quality starting defensive lineman. In year one, he gives the Packers more depth, something they desperately need.
Round 5 (149): Zack Kuntz, TE, Old Dominion
The Packers may double down at tight end, and they could get a steal if Zack Kuntz is on the board in the fifth round. Yes, he needs time to develop and won't start right away, but he has what you can't teach: Elite size and athleticism.
Kuntz is 6-foot-7, 255 pounds, and earned a perfect 10 out of 10 in his Relative Athletic Score. He needs a lot of work to become a key contributor on offense, but his upside is huge.
Round 5 (170): Juice Scruggs, C/G, Penn State
Green Bay loves to add offensive line depth on Day 3 of the draft. Penn State's Juice Scruggs can play center and guard, and his versatility should interest the Packers. Scruggs has starting potential, and even if not, he will give the Packers a quality backup option at multiple positions, making him a valuable addition to the roster.
