Packers blockbuster trade shakes up 2023 7-round mock draft
Round 7 (232): Jordan McFadden, T, Clemson
With no sixth-round pick, the Packers have to wait until the seventh, where they own four selections. They kick things off by adding more offensive line depth. Clemson tackle Jordan McFadden would provide good competition for a spot on the 53-man roster, where he could be a backup at both tackle spots.
Round 7 (235): Nesta Jade Silvera, DL, Arizona State
Green Bay strengthened the defensive line earlier by drafting Zacch Pickens, but they may double down in the draft after losing Dean Lowry and Jarran Reed in free agency. Nesta Jade Silvera played 12 games for Arizona State last season, making 1.5 sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss, three pass defenses, and one forced fumble.
Round 7 (242): Sean Clifford, QB, Penn State
The Packers appear to have interest in drafting a quarterback, which makes sense with Aaron Rodgers departing. ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported this week that the Packers had a pre-drafting meeting scheduled with Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford.
Clifford could be a target for Green Bay late on Day 3.
Round 7 (256): Keytaon Thompson, WR, Virginia
As they did last year in the seventh round by drafting Samori Toure, the Packers add wide receiver depth late on with Virginia's Keytaon Thompson.
Thompson is 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. He has 1,569 receiving yards and two touchdowns over the past two seasons, but also 272 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
