The Green Bay Packers have a lot of young talent on the roster, but many areas need upgrades in the offseason. Along with players gaining more experience as they enter years two and three, the Packers could take a massive step forward in 2024 with the right moves.

Green Bay's rookie class has already made an impact this season. Jayden Reed and Luke Musgrave have started every game, and seventh-rounder Carrington Valentine is now a regular starter after a breakout performance last week. Lukas Van Ness, Karl Brooks, and Dontayvion Wicks have also made vital contributions.

If the Packers can put together another strong rookie class, sign a couple of free agents, and continue to develop the young players already on the roster, they can take a significant step forward in 2024. What would make a dream starting lineup next season?

Quarterback: Jordan Love

The Packers could make a quarterback change in the offseason, but landing one of the top prospects like Caleb Williams or Drake Maye likely requires owning one of the top two picks. The issue is that the Chicago Bears could pick twice inside the top three, and there's no way they are making a trade that allows Green Bay to draft a quarterback.

Instead, the Packers stick with Jordan Love and improve the team around him. Love could still be the long-term answer at quarterback. He has shown flashes of excellent play this season but needs more consistency. Improving the offensive line and receiving corps would make a difference.

Love looks far more comfortable when the offensive line plays well and has played his best football.
