Fan angle of insane Christian Watson TD vs. Chiefs makes it look even better
Christian Watson is back. He may have just made the catch of his career in the Green Bay Packers' Sunday night showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Watson received a lot of criticism for his play early in the season, but he has been growing in confidence since catching a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers two weeks ago.
He backed it up with five catches for 94 yards and a score in Green Bay's impressive win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
The Packers needed him to make an impact against the Chiefs. So far, he has dominated against Kansas City's No. 4-ranked pass defense.
His second touchdown catch of the night looked good on the TV broadcast. A fan angle makes it look even better.
Incredible alternative angle of Christian Watson's touchdown for Packers vs. Chiefs
The touchdown was a thing of beauty. Jordan Love threw the ball in a place where only Watson could make the play. It would require a spectacular effort from Watson to go up and make the catch and then keep his feet in bounds.
This angle shows just how incredible the play was.
What a play.
The touchdown put the Packers up 21-12 in the third quarter. It took Watson to four catches on five targets for 49 yards and two touchdowns on the evening. When Love needs a play, he is looking Watson's way.
Green Bay may need more magic from Love and Watson in the fourth quarter. Kansas City's offense has had its way, reaching the red zone on all of its drives so far, with the exception of a kneeldown at the end of the first half.
But the Packers' offense has delivered through three quarters, giving them hope of pulling off the upset against the Chiefs.
