The Green Bay Packers couldn't lose Aaron Jones.
He is the leader and star player for the Packers' young offense. He leads by example, picks up his teammates after tough moments, and is the team's most explosive playmaker.
Unfortunately, he suffered a scary knee injury against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11 and had to be helped off the field. It was an emotional moment as he left the field in tears, and one that left Packers fans understandably heartbroken.
Jones means everything to this team. While we hope for positive injury updates, Packers fans have reacted to the news on social media.

When Jones has a big game, so do the Packers. That's why it's so tough to lose him. Hopefully, it's not a season-ending injury, but it didn't look great.
It's hard to watch the moment Jones had to be helped off the field with a towel over his head.

It was a heartbreaking moment. We all hope for good news on the injury.
Packers fans have been reacting to the news on X (formerly Twitter). Cheesehead TV's Aaron Nagler captures how all of Packers Nation is feeling right now.
Dear Father in heaven, I’m not a praying man but if you’re up there and you can hear me, please let Aaron Jones be ok.

whether he was touching the ball or not, aaron jones brought a sense of stability, familiarity and comfort for a young offense. losing him would be a pretty devastating blow

The Packers have ruled out Jones and backup running back Emanuel Wilson for the remainder of the game. The team confirmed it's a knee injury for Jones and a shoulder issue for Wilson. It means AJ Dillon is the only active running back left in the game for the Packers, which makes the second half an even greater challenge against the Chargers.
But the one thing Packers fans want to see now is some encouraging news on their star running back. It's unclear how serious the injury is. Hopefully, it's not season-ending.
Sometimes, injuries look far worse than they actually are. We can only hope the same is true for Jones.
