Packers land a generational talent in this 2024 NFL mock draft
Round 3 (88): Cooper Beebe, G, Kansas State
It's not just tackle where the Packers need an upgrade. Green Bay has to improve at the interior positions, too. Despite offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich saying that Josh Myers is playing the best football of his career, center could be on the offseason to-do list.
The Packers may also need a new starting right guard, as Jon Runyan Jr. is a free agent in the offseason. Elgton Jenkins starts on the left side, but Green Bay doesn't have many options to replace Runyan currently on the roster, outside of moving Tom from tackle.
Kansas State's Cooper Beebe can change that.
Beebe has experience at multiple positions along the offensive line, including tackle. The Packers love that. He has been outstanding this season for Kansas State and was named to Pro Football Focus' midseason All-Prospect Team.
Watching Packers linemen run-blocking hasn't been an enjoyable experience this season. Beebe changes that. He is a powerful player and would immediately improve Green Bay's ground game.
Beebe can start in the NFL immediately. Add in his positional versatility, and he checks every box for a Green Bay Packers offensive lineman.
In the opening three rounds of this mock, Green Bay lands two new starters along the offensive line, a replacement for Rasul Douglas, and a generational talent at wide receiver.
