Brian Gutekunst has made seven first-round picks since becoming Green Bay Packers general manager. Of those seven, he traded up three times.

Making aggressive trades has been part of Gutekunst's draft strategy. When there's a player he believes can become a difference-maker for the Packers, he is willing to move up. Gutekunst did the same in the second round last year, making a huge trade with the Minnesota Vikings to draft wide receiver Christian Watson.

Assuming the Packers receive a premium pick from the New York Jets for Aaron Rodgers -- perhaps a second-rounder this year -- could Gutekunst use it to his advantage by trading up?

Let's explore that possibility in this mock draft.

Packers 7-round mock draft: Aaron Rodgers trade

We still await the Aaron Rodgers trade to the New York Jets. While the teams continue to work out compensation, we have the Packers netting two picks and a player.

They receive one of New York's second-round choices this year, at No. 42 overall, a conditional pick in 2024 that could end up as a first-rounder, and veteran wide receiver Corey Davis.

The Packers would now own the Nos. 42 and 45 picks. With three picks inside the top 50, including two second-rounders, it's time for Gutekunst to make another big move.
