The Green Bay Packers are about as healthy as they have been all season.
Green Bay's injury list has been long most weeks, but the team only listed two players as questionable ahead of the Week 9 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. However, the Packers didn't help their chances of winning by trading starting cornerback Rasul Douglas before the deadline earlier this week. Rookie Carrington Valentine will likely replace Douglas in the starting lineup.
Packers-Rams begins at noon CT. Below are the inactives for each team ahead of the game.
Packers vs. Rams inactives Week 9
Packers inactives
- LB Quay Walker
- S Rudy Ford
- LB Brenton Cox Jr.
- T Caleb Jones
- WR Samori Toure
Rams inactives

The Packers and Rams desperately need a win in this matchup. Green Bay has lost its previous four games. Its only victory since beating the Chicago Bears in Week 1 was a miracle fourth-quarter comeback against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. Since then, the Packers have suffered defeats to the Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Minnesota Vikings.
Can Matt LaFleur's team finally end their losing run at home against the Rams on Sunday?
Los Angeles also needs a win, having lost its previous two games. With a 3-5 record, a loss would significantly hurt the Rams' chances of keeping up with the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West.
The Packers have gotten the better of the Rams in recent years under head coach Matt LaFleur, but they will have to do it without Aaron Rodgers this time. Can Green Bay's offense finally find some rhythm after a handful of disastrous performances?
It might not make for the most entertaining game of the season, but it's an important one for both teams.
