Jordan Love proved himself on the field, reaching an MVP level in the second half of his debut season as the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback.

Packers fans are getting to know him better this offseason, with the former first-round pick appearing on various podcasts and shows. The takeaway is always the same: Love is the perfect person to lead the Packers into a new era, and we're lucky to have him.

Love has enjoyed attending several major sporting events this offseason, including Marquette's victory over Seton Hall in January. This week, he was at Dodger Stadium to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants.

Bleacher Report filmed it and put a microphone on Love, leading to a memorable moment.

Packers QB Jordan Love had perfect reaction to missing Mookie Betts' home run

Love wanted to see a home run, and Dodgers star Mookie Betts granted his wish. The problem? Love wasn't looking. The Bleacher Report cameras caught Love looking off into the distance at the exact moment Betts hit the home run.

"The sad part about it was I missed it," said Love. "I ain't even get to see the bat. Dang. I ain't even see it."

We've all been there. Nothing can happen for 20 minutes, you look away for a split second, and the next pitch is hit into the stands.

Fortunately, Love didn't miss much for the Packers last season, especially down the stretch. He threw 18 touchdowns to only one interception in Green Bay's 6-2 finish before almost completing a perfect passer rating in the stunning 48-32 wild-card victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Love proved he is the Packers' future, and a new deal is on the way.

While we look forward to the next chapter in the Jordan Love era, it's great to see how cool of a person he is off the field, even when he's missing home runs.
