Keisean Nixon was responsible for many of the Green Bay Packers' most exciting plays last season, and he doesn't plan to let any new NFL rule change ruin that.

It was announced on Tuesday that the NFL has passed a new rule on kickoffs. Returners can now call for a fair catch as long as they are behind their own 25-yard line. A fair catch results in the ball being placed at the 25.

If it sounds like a ridiculous rule change, it's because it is. Kickers won't be rewarded for pinning the ball at the one-yard line and forcing a return that could result in a minimal gain. A returner can call fair catch at the one-yard line and have their offense start at the 25. It makes no sense.

Nixon and the Packers have every right to be angry about the rule change. By allowing fair catches, it increases the risk of returning a kick. The better option may be to call for a fair catch and take the ball at the 25.

But Nixon had the perfect response on Twitter.

It appears Keisean Nixon isn't bothered by the rule change. He was fearless last season when returning kicks. It didn't matter if he was seven yards deep in the end zone, Nixon was bringing it out regardless.

And it doesn't sound like he has any plans to change that approach.

Nixon's aggressiveness on kick returns helped him lead the league in the category, earning first-team All-Pro honors as a result. Incredibly, he did this without even having the job all season.

Don't be surprised if Nixon doesn't call a single fair catch this year. He may return every kick.

Sometimes, it won't work out and a fair catch would've been the better choice. But Nixon has game-changing ability as a returner. He is willing to take the risk, and the reward is well worth it when he breaks off a kick return touchdown like he did against the Minnesota Vikings last season.

The rule change punishes kickers who have mastered the ability of landing the ball around the one-yard line. But it won't stop Nixon returning kicks, and that's good news for the Packers.
