Round 3 (88): Sedrick Van Pran, C, Georgia

Green Bay needs to improve its depth at the interior offensive line positions this offseason. There is an opening at right guard, but the Packers can upgrade on Josh Myers at center. Georgia's Sedrick Van Pran could compete for both starting jobs and has the potential to become a long-term starter in the NFL.

Van Pran is one of the most underrated prospects in the draft. He helped Georgia win back-to-back national championships and was named a first-team All-SEC in 2023. According to Pro Football Focus, Van Pran has allowed zero sacks and one quarterback hit over the past two seasons.

"Sedrick Van Pran is a scheme-versatile center who has all of the physical tools and intangibles to be a quality NFL starter," writes The Draft Network's Keith Sanchez.

Van Pran earned a solid Relative Athletic Score of 7.83 out of 10 after a good performance at the NFL Scouting Combine.

The Packers drafted former Georgia Bulldogs Eric Stokes, Quay Walker, and Devonte Wyatt. It's time to add an offensive player. Van Pran offers the versatility to play multiple positions along the line and could immediately compete for a starting job at center and guard. He would be an excellent Day 2 pick.
