The focus on the offensive line continues in the third round. Center is arguably a bigger need than guard, depending on how well Josh Myers plays the rest of the season. Based on what we've seen so far, the Packers should consider drafting a center.

Green Bay made a mistake by drafting Myers one pick before the Kansas City Chiefs selected Creed Humphrey. But Myers could have a future at guard. Enter Georgia's Sedrick Van Pran, arguably the best center in the upcoming draft class.

"He's allowed just one sack on 933 pass-blocking snaps over the past two years, with pressure rates of 2.6% and 2.1% in 2021 and 2022, respectively," Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus wrote in July.

Drafing Van Pran would allow the Packers to try Myers at guard.

How's this for a starting offensive line in 2023: Rasheed Walker or Jordan Morgan at left tackle, Elgton Jenkins at left guard, Van Pran at center, Jon Runyan or Myers at right guard, and Zach Tom at right tackle?

The Packers considered their options at center this summer. They experimented with Tom and Runyan occasionally, so it will come as no surprise if they target a center in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.
