Kenny Clark, Christian Watson injury updates

Defensive lineman Kenny Clark and wide receiver Christian Watson suffered injuries in the Packers' win over the Rams. Fortunately, it sounds like both players avoided anything too serious.

Clark exited the game due to a shoulder injury and didn't return, but Matt LaFleur said there's "not a lot of concern." Clark also didn't sound too worried.

"I'll be all right. We've got to get these tests and get it figured out," said Clark, per Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated.

Without Clark in the lineup, the Packers had to rely on a young defensive line, including multiple rookies. But they delivered. Colby Wooden made a stop on fourth down, while Karl Brooks consistently made plays against the run and pass. He broke up two passes.

Watson suffered chest and back injuries and was evaluated for a concussion, but again, LaFleur had a positive update. LaFleur said after the game that they don't believe he suffered a concussion.

Watson suffered the injury after making an excellent 37-yard reception. He went up and won a contested catch but appeared to land awkwardly on the ball. Hopefully, Watson is OK and can play next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Avoiding a concussion is great news.
