The Green Bay Packers might be heading toward a losing season, but that hasn't made the past few weeks any less eventful.

Whether it's Christian Watson's family debating with Packers fans on social media, Aaron Jones' brother calling out Matt LaFleur, or David Bakhtiari posting cryptic messages, there is plenty going on.

The Packers aim to get back on track this week, but they face a daunting challenge against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. It could be another long afternoon for Green Bay, especially if Joe Barry's defense can't figure things out.

Before then, let's take a look at some of the top Packers news updates.

Packers sign linebacker Austin Ajiake

Green Bay has made a roster move, signing linebacker Austin Ajiake to the practice squad. He replaces safety Innis Gaines.

General manager Brian Gutekunst has a good track record of adding talent to the roster in-season. He has often found instant contributors, including Rasul Douglas and Justin Hollins.

Ajiake is on the practice squad, but he could earn an opportunity on the 53-man roster at some point. Ajiake is an undrafted rookie and most recently spent time with the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders.

Green Bay has excellent depth at inside linebacker with Quay Walker, De'Vondre Campbell, and Isaiah McDuffie, so it's unlikely Ajiake will play many snaps on defense in the near future, but he can contribute on special teams.
