Jayden Reed nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week

Jayden Reed is a rising star. He is growing in confidence each week and continues to build chemistry with quarterback Jordan Love.

The second-round pick is one of six nominees for the NFL Rookie of the Week award. He is coming off his best performance of the season, making five receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown in Week 10.

Reed caught a 35-yard touchdown in the game. He ran a great route and gained enough separation before Jordan Love made arguably his best throw of the season to find the rookie receiver in the end zone. The two connected again on a 46-yard pass on the Packers' final drive.

Reed has already become a key player in Green Bay's offense, and he is only just getting started. It's exciting to think how good he can become for the Packers over the next couple of seasons.

He faces tough competition for the award this week, though. Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud put together another impressive performance to lead his team to victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs put up 112 total yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Whether Reed wins the award or not, it's great to see him get nominated, and it's well deserved.
