The Green Bay Packers must quickly get back on track to remain in the playoff hunt. They suffered a setback with a surprise defeat to the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, and they need a better performance on a short week with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming to town.

Fourteen players are on Green Bay's injury report for its Week 15 matchup against Tampa Bay. But what are the latest injury updates?

Will Aaron Jones return in Week 15? Why is there concern with AJ Dillon? And what is going on with Jaire Alexander?

Let's get into it.

What is going on with Jaire Alexander?

All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander has missed five straight games due to a shoulder injury. The Packers didn't place him on injured reserve, which would've opened a roster spot for four games while he was out.

Alexander has practiced every week since the Packers hosted the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11 but hasn't played.

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman reports that Alexander didn't travel with the team for Monday night's game against the New York Giants. He had traveled for the road games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions despite not playing.

Head coach Matt LaFleur said it was "part of the recovery process."

Alexander has only played five games this season, missing eight due to back and shoulder injuries.

He continues to practice ahead of Sunday's game with the Buccaneers, but his status for the remainder of the season remains a mystery.
