1. Detroit Lions (3-1)

The Detroit Lions are the best team in the NFC North, and it's not particularly close. They dominated the Packers at Lambeau on Thursday night, winning in all three phases.

Dan Campbell's team ran all over Green Bay's defense. The Packers couldn't stop them, so they just kept running it. David Montgomery rushed 32 times for 121 yards and three touchdowns. Rookie Jahmyr Gibbs averaged five yards per carry and Kalif Raymond had a 40-yard run.

Outside of an interception on the Lions' opening drive, Jared Goff played well. When he needed a big-time throw, he often made it.

We have to talk about the defense. They dominated all night long, sacking Jordan Love five times and intercepting him twice. Green Bay couldn't run the ball, averaging just 2.3 yards per attempt, although Love did have a nine-yard rushing touchdown.

The Lions have a chance to pull away in the NFC North. They have impressive road wins over the Kansas City Chiefs and Packers, crushed the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2, and have a 3-1 record to show for it.

With games against the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, and Las Vegas Raiders to come next, the Lions could easily add another three or four wins to the tally by the end of Week 8.
