2. Green Bay Packers (2-3)

Teams tend to prefer a later bye, but the Green Bay Packers' week off came at the right time.

First, they are dealing with several injuries. The Packers hope to have Aaron Jones, De'Vondre Campbell, Quay Walker, Darnell Savage, and Eric Stokes back in Week 7. Zach Tom, Christian Watson, Jaire Alexander, and Elgton Jenkins have regularly been on the injury report. The bye gives them more time to recover.

The Packers also desperately needed a chance to take a breath. Their performances have declined each week, especially on offense. The bye gave Matt LaFleur and his coaching staff time to self-scout, figure out where they are going wrong, and make changes.

Green Bay has to start stacking up wins. Up next is a road matchup with the struggling Denver Broncos before the Minnesota Vikings visit Lambeau Field. Win both, and the Packers can get back into the wild-card race with a 4-3 record. But nothing is guaranteed with this team.

If the Packers can't put in a good performance against the Broncos with two weeks to prepare, it may be time to hit the panic button.

Green Bay faces an important few weeks to keep its season alive. Winning the NFC North is becoming increasingly unlikely, but a wild-card berth is still on the line.
