Rebuild is often used to describe the Green Bay Packers' offseason, but it's about time we talked about the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings are the defending NFC North champions, having won 13 games last year, but they have had a terrible offseason.

Minnesota has lost several key starters in the past few months.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen, edge rusher Za'Darius Smith, linebacker Eric Kendricks, cornerback Patrick Peterson, and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson all departed in free agency -- they have 14 Pro Bowls between them.

Just last week, the Vikings were unable to trade star running back Dalvin Cook and released him instead. Cook has been a Pro Bowler four seasons in a row.

The Vikings have lost a lot of talent this offseason, but it might not be over yet.

Danielle Hunter could be next Packers division rival to leave NFC North

Could three-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Danielle Hunter become the next Vikings player to leave this offseason?

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Hunter will skip the Vikings' mandatory minicamp as he hopes to land a new deal. This follows a report that teams had called the Vikings about a possible trade for Hunter.

When healthy, Hunter is one of the best pass rushers in the league. In 102 career games with 73 starts, Hunter has made an impressive 71 sacks and 112 quarterback hits. He has four seasons with double-digit sacks, including last year.

The Packers would be more than happy to see him leave the division. Hunter has made 6.5 sacks, 11 quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss, and forced a fumble against the Packers in his career.

Where would this leave the Vikings? Hunter and Smith combined for 20.5 sacks last season. No other Vikings player had more than four. They could lose both of their top pass rushers in the same offseason.

There has been plenty of talk about the Packers rebuilding, but maybe we should be paying more attention to the Vikings, who could lose yet another star player.
