Darnell Savage

Darnell Savage showed potential in the first two seasons of his career, but he could not build on it. We were reminded how good he can be during the Packers' wild-card victory over the Dallas Cowboys when Savage intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown.

However, it was a tough season for Savage. He made costly errors on two touchdowns and dropped an interception in the divisional-round loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Under new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, the Packers will play a lot of single-high, and they may need to start over at safety.

Josiah Deguara

Josiah Deguara struggled to land a significant role on offense this season. Rookies Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft played the majority of the snaps. They can take on most of Deguara's blocking work while offering more in the receiving game.

Deguara lost snaps to third-string tight end Ben Sims late in the season. Green Bay could also bring back free agent Tyler Davis, who missed the entire season due to injury. Deguara is a free agent and needs a fresh start on a new team. It's hard to see him playing many snaps for the Packers outside of contributing on special teams. Green Bay will likely move on.
