1. Caleb Williams, USC

The Packers landing USC's Caleb Williams is a long shot. Many believe Williams can become a generational player in the NFL, and there's a strong chance he goes No. 1 overall.

Green Bay has two wins. The Carolina Panthers are winless. Carolina will send its first-round pick to the Chicago Bears. Even if the Bears decide to move forward with Justin Fields, there's no way they would trade the draft's top selection to the Packers.

But let's imagine the Packers end up first overall or Williams falls to No. 3. It would be a home run.

"Williams will transform the organization he lands with very early in his career. He's a slam-dunk top-two quarterback in the 2024 class and has the tools and skill set to be an All-Pro in the NFL," writes Ian Valentino of Pro Football Network.

Williams won the Heisman Trophy and was named the AP College Football Player of the Year in 2022. Last season, he threw for 4,537 yards, 42 touchdowns, and five interceptions. And he's having another dominant year in 2023, putting up 2,277 yards, 23 touchdowns, and four interceptions in eight games.

Williams also has 17 rushing touchdowns over the past two seasons. He is a star.

Many have compared Williams to Patrick Mahomes. The team that drafts him could quickly become a contender. Maybe he'll become the next superstar quarterback to play in Green Bay.
