The Green Bay Packers kicked off the Jordan Love era in style, destroying the Chicago Bears with a 38-20 victory at Soldier Field.

Few gave the Packers a chance of beating the Bears in the season opener, but Matt LaFleur's team proved they are more than capable of winning without Aaron Rodgers. They didn't just win, they crushed the Bears in a statement performance on the road.

It's a long season, and tougher challenges will await this young Packers team. But they couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect way to begin a new era.

Second-year inside linebacker Quay Walker stepped up with one of the game's best plays. Green Bay had all the momentum following Romeo Doubs' second touchdown of the contest, but Walker sealed victory with an incredible pick-six.

It was an outstanding play by Walker, made even better by Wayne Larrivee's radio call.

Packers radio legend Wayne Larrivee calls "Dagger" after Quay Walker pick-six

Wayne Larrivee is the best in the business. He has called so many legendary moments over the years for the Packers Radio Network, and he added another to the list on Sunday.

Walker's incredible pick-six deserved a great call, and Larrivee provided it.

"He's going to the house for a pick-six. Touchdown, Green Bay! And an opening-day DAGGER!" called Larrivee.

Walker's touchdown was the icing on the cake. The Packers were already in complete control of the game, but his stunning interception turned it into a blowout victory.

Hopefully, it's a sign of what's to come for Walker. He showed potential in his rookie season but couldn't do it consistently. The former first-round pick made a significant impact in Week 1. Is Walker on the way to a breakout second season?

He made the best play of his Packers career to kick off the 2023 season.
