Running back (3)

Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Patrick Taylor

The battle for the number three running back job goes on. Rookie Emanuel Wilson made a strong case with a six-carry, 111-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Bengals. Second-year Tyler Goodson has been impressive at training camp.

However, Patrick Taylor still has the advantage in pass protection and special teams, which significantly helps his chances of making the 53-man roster ahead of Wilson and Goodson.

Wide receiver (6)

Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Samori Toure, Dontayvion Wicks, Malik Heath

There aren't any questions about the top five at wide receiver, but the Packers have to seriously consider keeping a sixth. Rookie Malik Heath was one of the standout performers in the preseason opener, not just for his receiving ability but also his willingness as a blocker.

If he keeps this up, Heath could secure a spot on the 53.

Tight end (3)

Luke Musgrave, Josiah Deguara, Tucker Kraft

Green Bay may need to add another tight end after losing Tyler Davis for the year. Davis played the Packers' most special teams snaps last season but suffered a torn ACL last week against Cincinnati.

It doesn't help that Josiah Deguara has missed time with a calf issue. The Packers lack depth at tight end, and they may need to add a veteran in the near future.
