Packers roster projection 3.0: Who is going to make the final 53?
Offensive line (9)
David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers, Jon Runyan, Zach Tom, Yosh Nijman, Rasheed Walker, Caleb Jones, Sean Rhyan
Matt LaFleur still has some things to figure out along the offensive line before the end of training camp. Is Josh Myers the best option at center? Jon Runyan and Zach Tom rotated snaps against the Bengals after Myers played the opening two drives.
Rasheed Walker had a standout performance, strengthening his chances of making the 53-man roster, but the same can't be said for Sean Rhyan or Royce Newman.
Rhyan allowed a pressure which led to one of Sean Clifford's interceptions, and Newman had two penalties and struggled all evening. We have Rhyan making the roster because he has had a solid camp, but Newman misses out.
Defensive line (6)
Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, T.J. Slaton, Colby Wooden, Karl Brooks, Jonathan Ford
There is far less uncertainty along the defensive line. The Packers' top five are set. The only question is whether they keep six on the initial roster, which would include backup nose tackle Jonathan Ford.
Rookies Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks continue to impress. Brooks had two quarterback hits against the Bengals. Green Bay's defensive line has the potential to become a strength of this defense in 2023.
