2. Packers vs. Lions (Week 4)
Even though their own playoff hopes had been crushed just hours earlier, the Detroit Lions went into Lambeau Field in January and ended the Packers' season. Ever since, all we've heard about is how good the Lions are going to be. Well, we're about to find out.
Detroit will open up the NFL season in a matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. That's a huge test. Just three weeks later, they travel to Lambeau Field on a short week. The Packers will want to make up for last season's loss, although this will be a different team.
That game is best remembered for Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb exiting the field together. It was their final moment as Packers players. It's Jordan Love's time to shine, and he can test a Lions defense that struggled last season. They have added talent, yes, but they are still building.
If Detroit is to reach its potential and finally win an NFC North title, it will have to prove itself. Games like this one are huge. The Packers are already being written off by many. If they can take down the Lions in Week 4, it would be a statement to the rest of the division.
This should be a fascinating contest.
