3. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers could have one of the most exciting offenses in football this season. They added wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis in the draft, giving Justin Herbert arguably the deepest receiving corps in the league.

Los Angeles adds second-round pick Tuli Tuipulotu to a pass rush already featuring Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. The Chargers should be contenders in the AFC and will create a daunting matchup for the Packers at Lambeau Field.

2. Detroit Lions

Maybe, just maybe, we won't see the same old Detroit Lions this season. Detroit bounced back from a slow start in 2022, going 8-2 down the stretch. By the end of the regular season, they were the best team in the NFC North.

Offensively, Jared Goff is supported by a solid offensive line, running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, and a talented receiving corps featuring Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, a returning Marvin Jones, and Jameson Williams, once he's back from suspension.

Detroit's defense should take a step forward, too, especially in the secondary after signing C.J. Gardner-Johnson and drafting Brian Branch. The Packers have lost their past three games against the Lions, and it won't be easy to end that losing run.

1. Kansas City Chiefs

The defending Super Bowl champions will play at Lambeau Field this season. Joe Barry's defense faces the daunting task of trying to slow down an offense featuring reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, along with a talented wide receiver corps of Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, rookie Rashee Rice, and former Packer Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Kansas City is the best team in the NFL. Even at Lambeau Field, beating the Chiefs won't be as easy as eight years ago when they last visited Green Bay.
