Week 2: Green Bay at Atlanta

This feels like a slip-up game for the Packers. While they could get a favorable matchup with an Atlanta defense that ranked 25th against the pass last season and made only 21 sacks, Green Bay's offense could be inconsistent with so many young players, especially so early in the season.

In a loud environment, scoring points could become a challenge for Matt LaFleur's offense. The Falcons have plenty of talent on offense, including first-round pick Bijan Robinson.

With the game being played in Atlanta, Green Bay is left frustrated after a disappointing performance. Perhaps a game the Packers feel like they should win slips away after making too many mistakes. Another early-season setback.

Prediction: Atlanta 28, Green Bay 17 (0-2)

Week 3: Green Bay vs. New Orleans

It's a new era for the Saints, who brought in quarterback Derek Carr this offseason. Carr has a talented offense to work with, including second-year wide receiver Chris Olave. Olave could see a lot of Jaire Alexander in this game, which would be a fascinating matchup.

The Packers will need to be at their best defensively. Working in Green Bay's favor is that the game will be played at Lambeau Field. The defense steps up by forcing three turnovers, and the Packers come away with an important win against another NFC team that could be in playoff contention this season.

Green Bay gets the job done at home, putting victory number one on the board.

Prediction: Green Bay 31, New Orleans 21 (1-2)
