Packers schedule 2023: Game-by-game predictions for upcoming season
Week 4: Green Bay vs. Detroit (Thursday Night Football)
A short week does the Packers no favors here. The Lions have the Packers' number. They had won back-to-back games against Green Bay at Ford Field, but it got far worse in January when Dan Campbell's team turned up to Lambeau Field and ended the Packers' season.
Unfortunately, the Lions continue to build. They have upgraded their defense this offseason and strengthened their receiving corps, bringing back wide receiver Marvin Jones and drafting tight end Sam LaPorta.
We won't know for sure until the games are played, but the Lions could be the best team in the NFC North, leading them to another victory at Lambeau Field this season.
Prediction: Detroit 31, Green Bay 24 (1-3)
Week 5: Green Bay at Las Vegas (Monday Night Football)
Will we get to see Davante Adams versus Jaire Alexander? If the Packers are going to have a chance to win this game, they need to put their All-Pro cornerback on Adams. Green Bay doesn't need reminding of how good Adams is.
The Packers might not enter this game as favorites, especially after losing three of their opening four. There will be a great atmosphere, making communication a challenge for Jordan Love and the offense.
However, Love puts in one of his best performances of the season, silencing the crowd and leading the Packers to an impressive victory over the Raiders. Green Bay wins even with Davante Adams catching two touchdowns.
