Week 13: Green Bay vs. Kansas City (Sunday Night Football)
Kansas City doesn't lose often. It will be Patrick Mahomes' first regular-season game at Lambeau Field, and the Packers' defense will be in the mood in front of a fired-up crowd.
A strong defensive effort almost led Green Bay to victory at Arrowhead Stadium in Jordan Love's first start two years ago. Like then, the defense keeps the Packers in the game, and Love also makes some impressive plays.
However, Mahomes is just too good. With the game on the line in the fourth quarter, he leads his team down the field for a game-winning drive. The Packers lose in heartbreaking fashion.
Prediction: Kansas City 24, Green Bay 23 (5-7)
Week 14: Green Bay at NY Giants (Monday Night Football)
The Packers owe the Giants a loss after the London game last season. Green Bay fell apart in the second half after leading comfortably early on. This will be a different game. Aaron Rodgers is gone, and the Giants will be favorites.
However, the Packers lean on their rushing attack against a Giants defense that ranked 27th against the run last season. This could be a big AJ Dillon game.
Jordan Love makes some plays, and the Packers come away with an all-important victory over the Giants at MetLife Stadium, which just also happens to be the new home of Aaron Rodgers.
