Packers schedule 2023: Game-by-game predictions for upcoming season
Week 17: Green Bay at Minnesota (Sunday Night Football)
The Packers don't have a great record at U.S. Bank Stadium. They pulled off an NFC North-winning victory in 2019 and then beat the Vikings there again in front of zero fans in 2020. Outside of that, they have lost their other four matchups at the Vikings' new home.
That includes a convincing 23-7 defeat in last season's opener. It's a tough environment for road teams. A challenging game awaits for an inexperienced Packers offense featuring a first-year starting quarterback and a number of rookie pass-catchers.
It's another disappointing performance at U.S. Bank Stadium but a great moment for the young players to learn from, even if it does hurt the Packers' playoff hopes.
Prediction: Minnesota 21, Green Bay 14 (8-8)
Week 18: Green Bay vs. Chicago
It has been eight years since the Packers last lost to the Bears at Lambeau Field. Hopefully, Aaron Rodgers' ownership of the Packers' oldest rivals has been passed on to Jordan Love. Despite losing the opener to the Bears, they bounce back here.
In Love's first game against the Bears at Lambeau, he leads his team to victory. This game could come down to how the Packers' defense performs against a new-look Bears receiving corps.
Here's how: Rasul Douglas makes a pick-six, helping the Packers win a close game. Green Bay gets the win to maintain its incredible home record against Chicago.
Is it enough to make the playoffs?
