2. Malik Heath, WR

To keep six wide receivers, or not to keep six wide receivers. That's the question facing Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst this summer.

Undrafted rookie Malik Heath is making Gutekunst's life far easier. Heath made three receptions for 36 yards against the Bengals, but what will catch the Packers' eye is his blocking.

"Love this type of effort and intensity from a young WR! That's how you make a roster," wrote NFL Network's Ben Fennell, referring to a fantastic block from Heath on a Sean Clifford rush against the Bengals.

Heath was among the Packers' standout performers during the offseason program, and he has continued to make an impact in the preseason.

Matt LaFleur needs his receivers to be willing blockers. The Packers have lost Allen Lazard, who was one of the best blockers at the position in the game. Heath showed that willingness and effort against the Bengals, increasing his chances of making the roster.

The more plays Heath makes as a receiver and blocker, the harder it becomes for the Packers not to include him on their roster. The rookie is building momentum, and he made a tremendous start to the preseason. He is a player to watch in the final two preseason contests.
