Defensive tackle: Kenny Clark

Having lost veteran starters Jarran Reed and Dean Lowry in free agency, Kenny Clark is the only defensive lineman on the roster with much experience. The Packers need Clark to lead the way for a young defensive line.

Defensive tackle: Devonte Wyatt

Second-year Devonte Wyatt gets his opportunity this season. He had to wait for his chance in his rookie year but made the most of it with a sack and two quarterback hits in the final three games of the regular season.

Edge: Rashan Gary

It's unclear when Rashan Gary will be ready to return from a torn ACL, but he is one of the Packers' most important players, so getting him back in the starting lineup will make a significant difference.

Edge: Lukas Van Ness

Will the Packers start with Lukas Van Ness ahead of Preston Smith? While unlikely, it might not take long for the first-round pick to earn his spot. If Gary misses the start of the regular season, Van Ness could start with Smith. Make a fast start, and a starting job could be his.

Inside linebacker: De'Vondre Campbell

It always seemed likely that De'Vondre Campbell's 2022 season wouldn't be as great as 2021, but he was still a solid contributor in the middle of the defense.

Inside linebacker: Quay Walker

Quay Walker has the athleticism, speed, and potential. He needs to put it all together in his second season.
