Christian Watson

Christian Watson suffered a hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter against the Chiefs. Hopefully, it's nothing serious, as Watson has made a significant impact for the Packers in recent weeks.

Just like last season, Watson began to gain momentum and became a different player. In the past two games, Watson has caught 12 of 16 passes for 165 yards and three touchdowns. It's evident that Watson is building chemistry with Jordan Love, and this connection has been vital to Green Bay's success.

Watson made the catch of the game on his second touchdown grab of the night, a 12-yarder that put Green Bay 21-12 up in the third quarter.

Love perfectly placed the ball high. He gave Watson the opportunity to make a play but without the risk of an interception. Aaron Rodgers was the master of this. Either my guy gets it, or it falls incomplete. Watson needed to leap high to make the catch and then keep his feet in bounds. He made it look easy.

Matt LaFleur is figuring out the best way to get Watson involved, and the second-year receiver is making an impact. He may not play in Week 14 due to injury, but the hope is that Watson avoided a significant issue. The Packers will need him down the stretch as they push for a playoff berth.
